Philippine Airlines

I've been itching for 2 years to post this. Drum rolls please...

the Philippine Airlines snack pack!!!!!!!!!! uuuhhhhhh yeah!

Do the math for the items (of course you have to consider their prices 2 years ago) and 20 pesos total would be hefty enough for a double dose. We paid more than 3 gran for the flight. I mean at least we should have had a decent snack. A jolly kiddy meal perhaps? With a toy please?

On the other hand, let me give props to the first ever airline in Asia - at least we had snacks, at least the wings of the plane that you are relying your life with is not flapping unlike its competitors...

Why would I say "at least" in the first place. It's our national carrier.

Heard something like this too:

"Their in-flight staff are supposed to look lively and young. How are they supposed to do that? They're old! If you take a look at their right arm tattoos, you can read be-here-till-death."

Here's a couple more:

The Fat PAL moron
The thirsty PAL Traveler

If I've written this after the flight I could have added more "heart". How could the first ever, oldest airline company in Asia crash? I know. Aren't we all sick and tired of talking about the doomed system.

They used to have beautiful ads on TV a decade ago though.

Anyway, I got over it.

So there was not much point in posting this.

Made me think, if it's itchy, should it be scratched?

hahahahaha you gotta love them for that. at least it's easy on the stomach. let's just fart and fart inside the plane. who's to blame if we have empty tummies?

on a serious note though... we don't fly to eat biscuits or a snack pack. Filipinos are given a feast when they arrive home (at least most of us). their marketing/in-flight team should up the ante. not to go in circles with their biscuit mentality.

Hmm.. PAL flights going to Japan have really, really, good model-looking stewardesses.. After that, a connecting flight to Dallas via Northwest changed the scene.. the young, talk stewardess became old maids! But they're nice and sweet.. coffee, tea?
